Microsoft, which nearly allows you to change your gamertag as often as you feel like giving them $9.99, has no issues with players losing access to their purchased content even my friend who changes their GT every 3 months has never had a problem. Nintendo, for all the hoops they make you jump though to play online, does not have any profile breaking issues like this. This IS unique to Sony Sony took what should be the most basic database function - assigning a unique User ID to which all other fields will be linked - and instead tied it directly to the Username. To pretend that they're all roughly equivalent, however, is what I find disingenuous. I will grant that you are correct in one thing - t here are flaws in every system. Sony may have its flaws but it's more than disingenuous to imply any game publisher has their together because they sure as dontĪs you make this statement, I have a question for you: What consoles/platforms do you own and use regularly right now? What consoles/platforms have you used in the past?

Tbh its not like any other game publisher are any better all three major consoles have pretty glaring flaws and pc is no better off with steam. I regret all the time and money I spent on this game. They haven't done anything to improve this game and they haven't done anything to improve solo player experience. I'm just sick of it all from the super uni platoon stacking, 4-5 man platoons using op/broken tanks like Absolutions or Machines etc, kill shot bounces like how you bring a tank down to a single shot then your next 3-5 shots bounce, poor spotting mechanics, all the ridiculous light tanks that made the game more like Mario Kart than a actual tank game, the worst is the matchmaker as this was the final nail in the coffin for me as I just couldn't put up with it anymore and I'm done with it all. All we got was the failed War Stories, a failed Mercenary tech tree, a bunch of gimmicks like the Commander & Mech Warrior mode etc, a bunch of downgraded PC ports & premium tanks with a good majority of them being reskins and 6 years in, WGCB have nothing to show for it, what a truly inept dev team. This game has been out for 6 years and there have been absolutely zero improvements to the physics, matchmaker, game mechanics, game fundamentals and economy. I am quitting World of Tanks Console permanently.
